The thing I kept hearing over and over again at this wedding was how excited everyone was that these two had found each other. I heard in toast after toast how friends and family had never seen them happier, and I have to agree that these to make each other really happy.

And isn’t that such a gift? what a great thing to have found someone that can wrap you in joy through all the good and bad that comes along in life?

Molly, the maid of honor, shared a story about Nick that I loved. A few of them went with him on his first trip to Costco a few weeks before the wedding. She said his joy and reactions to all the great deals and bulk sizes made it an adventure. A trip to Costco isn’t normally something that is an adventure, but being with someone who makes it that way is amazing! Kerrie, you are so blessed to be with someone that can find a way to make an experience as simple as Costco so exciting.

I didn’t know Kerrie before this wedding. A few weeks before her wedding I saw her posting about a run she was raising money for. I then saw her post photos from the run the week before her wedding. I can tell you that raising money for other people was not my focus the week before my wedding. I was stressed and busy and focused completely on what I had going on that week. And there isn’t anything wrong with focusing on yourself the week of your wedding. But what a gift it is to be a person who is able to be that relaxed, thoughtful, and giving on the week that is really “all about you.” Nick, you are blessed to be with someone so thoughtful and giving.

I’m so glad that you two are able to find each other! I hope that you will use these beautiful gifts that you have to love each other well and make the world a better place together.
