Hannah and Quenton are two of the sweetest people you could ever meet.
I was tearing up at the ceremony as Hannah read her vows to Quenton. She spoke about how 1 Corinthians shares what love looks like and compared those words with Quenton. “Quenton is kind, Quenton is patient, Quenton is not proud…..”
I mean, I don’t cry much. I really don’t. But she had me tearing up. Marriage is so beautiful. So wonderful. I have been married for over 8 years and I would choose it over and over again. I can’t imagine anyone else that I could trust my life with than Paul. I can’t imagine waking up without him. I can’t imagine trying to figure out what the Lord wants my life to look like without Paul’s life intertwined with mine. But marriage can also be hard. Two imperfect people trying to love each other more than themselves day after day.
And that is why I was tearing up. It made my heart feel so much joy for Hannah that she was choosing a man that loved her this way. A man that was all those things you have to be in those hard moments that sometimes come with marriage. And I could tell in the time I have spent with Hannah that she is the same. You deserve each other and I could not mean that in any kinder way! I know that both of you make the most amazing nurses. Your patients are lucky to have you!
Thank you for showing me what love looks like. I get a smile on my face when I think about you both. Continue to love each other with the kind of love that I saw when I was with you.
