I feel that the bridal party a bride and groom picks tells you a lot about who they are. I spent the whole day with this bridal party. It was a REALLY hot day, and I got to see how the groomsmen acted while I had to pose them in the heat in their tuxes. I hung out with the girls while they loved on Lauren. I rode in a a limo with all of them for an hour while we drove to the reception. These are good people. They were all so kind, thoughtful, patient, and fun! Lauren and Craig are amazing people so it does not surprise me that they surrounded themselves with wonderful people to make this day special.

I felt so honored to be able to be apart of this special day with both Lauren and Craig. How lucky am I to have gotten to photograph a wedding full of so many beautiful details! I would love to take a moment to point out how important it is to choose an amazing venue. When I walked into the reception hall my jaw dropped. My favorite part about a venue is when it lends itself well to rain, heat, and large bridal parties. This day was SO HOT. It was too hot to be in the sun, and this country club was perfect for shade. They had a great set of stairs at the front that was perfect for the large bridal party they had. It was wonderful lighting, but also so close to the building that the party didn’t have to walk too far in the heat. Right behind the reception hall was a beautiful long white porch that looked out over the golf course. It was covered, which gave us nice shade, but also would have protected us from rain. I was able to get some of my favorite images in this space. I was also able to run Lauren and Craig out during the reception for a few sunset photos. I loved that the club was set so close to the course with a beautiful tree line. This place really is a photographers dream.

On top of it all, the staff was incredible. I have interacted with many venues over the years and was very impressed with how smoothly everything ran, but also how relaxed the evening felt. I would HIGHLY recommend the Fort Wayne Country Club. I recommend it even higher if you want me to shoot your wedding. 🙂 I would gladly work there agin!

Craig and Lauren: Thank you for letting me be along for the ride. I pray that you continue to surround yourselves with such lovely people as your lives together take on new roles. I hope all the home renovations end soon and you can enjoy your beautiful new home!
