Marco and Shaina’s day was perfect. They set their whole celebration up on a beautiful private property that I’m still dreaming about. It was one of the hottest days of June but you would never have been able to tell because Shaina looked flawless all day! Well…actually everyone there looked pretty dang flawless. At one point I turned to my second shooter and said, “Everyone at this wedding is really beautiful.” And not only were they all beautiful, but everyone was so kind and thoughtful. It was such a fun group of people to be around all day!
Shaina’s first look with her dad was the sweetest things I’ve ever captured with a parent. Then hearing her father speak about her at the reception and watching the father-daughter dance just sealed the deal that they have the best relationship.
There were so many amazing moments of their day: Their almost accidental kiss during the ceremony, the cocktail hour with a Bourbon bar that Marco had made ( Marco made so many special pieces for their day including the amazing mirror that Shaina used to get ready), the hilarious stories about Marco’s childhood imaginary friend, and all the late night dancing to the awesome band.
Marco and Shaina, THANK YOU!!!! Thank you for letting me be a part of your special day. Marriage is so much fun and I hope I get to stay in touch with you as you spend the next 50+ years fishing and growing old together!
