Brittny, Zachery, and Ady won my competition and I'm so happy for this family!
When I was in high school I did a cadet teaching program with a kindergarten classroom. Briley was one of my students and I became friends with his mom. The next year in college I tutored Briley for a little while. Brittny is Briley's sister and I have gotten to know her and her family this past year. It has been 10+ years since I tutored Briley, and now he is taller than me and graduating! AND just a few weeks ago I started tutoring Ady! It feels really special that I have been able to be connected with this family for so many years! Also it makes me feel SUPER OLD!
Ady is one of the sweetest little girls I have ever met. She just radiates joy and kindness. I actually have a special blog post planned to share more about Ady in the next few months! Keep an eye out for that, but in the meantime enjoy a few more photos of their beautiful family!
2016 was a great year! I had so many wonderful families I was able to work with and I wanted to show them off.
I put on a little photo competition to give them all a chance to win a free 16x20 canvas print. Head over to my facebook page (Bekah Taylor Photography) to check it out. In the mean time enjoy their beautiful faces!!
These people! I just love them! Neena and I have been friends since high school. WELL....not exactly. We were in classes together in high school. She was way cooler than I was, but then I got a little cooler and we became friends in college and have been friends ever since. And now we laugh about how we were not friends in high school.
Neena and Ryan are two of the most amazing people I know. Generous and kind, super involved in the community and deeply invest their time in to so many people's lives. I LOVE them! I remember when Neena told me they were adopting. The joy I felt was so deep! Every time I see them I am inspired to do more and help others! They are such an example of Christ's love! And thanks for being good looking. It makes my job easy!
I remember when Toby was in kindergarten. I was in college and I helped in her classroom. And now look how grown up she is. I am totally getting old. Loved taking photos for this family in one of my mini sessions!
My Sister is having a baby! It was a little stressful timing trying to make it to this shoot after work, but we did it and she made it look so amazing!
Kaila was one of my first friends in college. A bunch of us went home with her one weekend, so I actually met her parents at the same time that her now husband did. I took their engagment photos, I second shot their wedding. Actually they are the reason why I am a wedding photographer today. They became photographers and took our 1 year anniversary photos. They have been good friends ever since. They are amazing people, with beautiful hearts. And I know a lot of that has to do with who they were raised by. Kaila's family are all kind, generous, and wonderful people.
They are now in a new beautiful home and spend a lot of time on the pond. So we took pictures in the places they love most! Such a joy to be able to capture these kiddos special moments with their grandparents and Uncle Drew! I mean, they are obviously very loved kids!
Do you know how you see people week after week but never really know them? That is how I was with Hanni! I was so glad I was able to meet and capture her fun family this summer! And these kids? They ALL need to be actors! So much fun and so sweet! Just scroll through to see some of their amazing facial expressions! :)
